Job description

The  Faculty of Archaeology is seeking to appoint 3 part-time Teaching-/Research Staff member for the period of September 2018 until May 2020 to support our teaching staff in the undergraduate program.

We are looking for highly motivated self-funded PhD-students aiming for an academic career for which teaching experience is required. You will mainly contribute to seminars in the research-led teaching and in sessions in study and research skills within the undergraduate year 1, whilst simultaneously studying for a PhD in your own time. The task will include coaching of our RMA-students and feedback to the students.

Requirements

  • A self-funded PhD-student;
  • An official member of the Graduate School of Archaeology;
  • Ideally have some experience in tutoring and in blackboard;
  • Willing to work across all modules of the undergraduate year 1.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 2 years.

We offer a part-time, fixed-term post from 1 September 2018 - May 2020. Appointment will be at employment agency Jobmotion. Gross monthly salary is in principle €2,465/€2,588 (scale 8, grade 0 or 1). Salary scale depends on education and experience.
