Voor het departement EOR zijn wij per 1 september 2018 op zoek naar een Docent Wiskunde en Statistiek. De taken van de gezochte docent bestaan uit:

• het verzorgen van hoor- en werkcolleges van kwantitatieve cursussen in onderwijsprogramma’s waar het departement EOR verantwoordelijk voor is,
• begeleiden van bachelortheses,
• het uitvoeren van een aantal lopende digitaliseringsprojecten binnen ons onderwijs,
• het coördineren van een cursus waarbij een team van docenten betrokken is.

   

Wij zoeken een enthousiaste collega die:

• bij voorkeur een PhD  heeft afgerond in wiskunde, statistiek, econometrie, operationele research of een andere gerelateerde kwantitatieve richting,

• ervaring heeft met het verzorgen van hoor-  en werkcolleges,
• in staat is om een team van werkcollegedocenten en studentassistenten aan te sturen,
• bereid is, indien nog niet in bezit, om het certificaat Basis Kwalificatie Onderwijs (BKO) te verwerven.

Het salaris is afhankelijk van opleiding en ervaring en bedraagt minimaal € 2.588,- en maximaal € 4.084,- bruto per maand (salarisschaal 10) bij een fulltime aanstelling, exclusief vakantiegeld (8%) en eindejaarsuitkering (8,3%). Deze functie valt onder het UFO profiel Docent 4 en op deze functie is de CAO Nederlandse Universiteiten van toepassing. Bij ruimere ervaring behoort een hogere inschaling tot de mogelijkheden (tot maximaal € 4.757,- schaal 11).

We are responsible for teaching many quantitative courses in all bachelor programs of our School of Economics and Management, in the Research Master in Economics and Business, and in the new Data Science Bachelor, a recent joint venture with Technical University Eindhoven. Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM) is the university largest faculty.  TiSEM offers well reputed academic research and education. Its research belongs to the European top.
