As Coordinator Internationalisation, you play an important role in fulfilling the mission of Erasmus School of Law. Based on the objectives and strategic priorities adopted by the Faculty Board, you contribute to the development and implementation of the internationalisation policy of Erasmus School of Law. You seek opportunities to expand international research collaborations and help academics apply for collaborative (EU) funding, in close consultation with the Funding Advisor. With your expertise, you support the Faculty Board in strengthening the international outlook through strategic planning for (new) partner universities and by promoting student and staff exchanges, for example by optimising the mobility options of the Erasmus + programme. You prepare the inter-institutional agreements and act as contact person for mobility requests from staff and students, including the administrative processes of Erasmus +. You are happy to make preparations and accompany the Faculty Board on visits to foreign partner universities. Moreover, you are responsible for preparing visits by foreign delegations to Erasmus School of Law.

As Coordinator Internationalisation, you play a crucial role in connecting research to education by creating opportunities for synergy in research and education in international collaborations. Close cooperation between you, the Heads of the Faculty Departments, the Erasmus Graduate School of Law, the Research Office and the Educational Office is therefore essential. The position of Coordinator Internationalisation will be embedded in the Research Office of Erasmus School of Law. This Office assists the Board in research strategy and policy, provides research (funding) support to ESL researchers and is responsible for the daily management of Erasmus Graduate School of Law. Depending on your profile, you may also be deployed in adjacent policy areas

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with a master degree and relevant experience and keen interest in internationalisation opportunities and challenges, both in research and in education. You have strong entrepreneurial and networking skills and are results-driven. At the same time, you have the flexibility and resilience to make a contribution in an academic environment, both strategically and hands-on. Your oral and written communication skills are excellent and you are fluent in English (minimum level C1) and in Dutch.

A fixed contract for at least one year, with the possibility of an extension. We offer an attractive position with good terms of employment in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities (CAO NU).

The monthly salary of the Coordinator Internationalisation is € 4,294 minimum and € 5,513 maximum gross for a full time position of 38 hours a week (scale 12, UFO profile External Collaboration Coordinator 3), depending on your level of experience.  A starting grade may apply.

Erasmus School of Law

Erasmus School of Law (ESL) employs 480 members of staff and is attended by around 5000 students.
