SmART Scientific Solutions

We are a Dutch company founded in 2015, in the field of preclinical R&D. We mostly develop products to support scientific research in cancer and other disease models. Our emphasis is on developing software products to support preclinical research activities. Most of our founders and employees have a strong background in human radiotherapy physics and technology research. Many of us are experts in medical imaging.

Through our experience in radiation therapy and cancer research, we were convinced that with the right software and tools, preclinical radiation and cancer research could be improved and accelerated. Bridging and shortening the translation between the lab and the clinic, increasing the pace of research in this field, everything for the benefit of the patient. That motivated us to found this company and continues to motivate today.

We are embedded in the modern Brightlands incubator site in Maastricht, easily accessible by car, public transport and train. On the same campus is located the Academic Hospital Maastricht, the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences, Maastro Clinic (with its brand new proton radiotherapy clinic). We collaborate worldwide with leading research teams in the biomedical sciences, in particular in cancer research.
