Job description

The RSM HR team, currently comprised of three HR business partners and four HR officers, is looking for a new colleague to take on the portfolio of our student assistants and hospitality agreements.

As an HR officer at RSM you are part of a core function that facilitates the day-to-day of our departments, teams and staff. You support our people, ensure processes run smoothly and queries are handled in a timely and effective manner, and maintain a collaborative and empathetic approach. All in all, you contribute to making RSM a great place to work.

Job description
In this role, these are your responsibilities:
  • The administration of the contracts of student assistants and hospitality agreements.
  • Advise management and staff regarding the policy of student assistants and hospitality agreements.
  • Support student assistants with regards to questions about their contracts and the rules, regulations and procedures applicable to them.
  • Contribute to the hiring process of student assistants and answer their questions about the recruitment process and system.
  • Support the onboarding process of new colleagues by managing the onboarding course system (Canvas) and coordinating the welcome packages.
  • Support colleagues with HR processes and administration during peaks in activity.
  • Contribute to continuous HR process improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy within your portfolio and provide reports.

Requirements

You are an enthusiastic, dedicated, precise and trustworthy colleague with experience in a people function. You love to work in an international environment, and you have a strong affinity for the Erasmian Values (Critical, Creative, Caring, Collaborative).

Furthermore, you have:
  • Completed an MBO or HBO level education (according to Dutch system) in a relevant field of study, preferably HR.
  • Experience in an HR and/or people-centric role.
  • C1 level Dutch, and a minimum of B2 level English skills, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Conditions of employment

Erasmus University has attractive employment conditions. The conditions of employment correspond with the collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU).

This is a position for 38 hours per week (full-time), with the option to apply flexible working hours according to CAO NU.

We have a hybrid working scheme, where you can choose to work fully from the office on the Woudestein Campus in Rotterdam or partially work from home.

Salary is subject to training and experience and may vary from a minimum of € 3,072 and up to a maximum of € 4,103 gross per month (scale 8 CAO NU), based on a full-time contract of 38 hours.
