Job description

As a Floor Manager at our Bioscience Center Lelystad location of Wageningen University & Research, you are the first point of contact for tenants regarding Facilities. You welcome visitors, ensure order and cleanliness in the workplace, handle administrative tasks, and coordinate facility-related tasks, some of which you will also carry out yourself. You work as part of the Facilities Team at this location and act as the link to the service providers on-site.
Your tasks and responsibilities as a Floor Manager:
  • You are the first point of contact at Bioscience Center Lelystad, handling reception, communication, and room reservations for tenants, suppliers, visitors, and guests.
  • You manage supplier contracts, conduct periodic service reviews, and coordinate tenant requests with the appropriate service provider.
  • You draft rental and service agreements, process billing for additional services, and submit them to the finance department.
  • You manage systems, energy data, and reservations, and handle administrative tasks such as orders, catering, and mail processing.
  • You oversee facility management, inform tenants about amenities and maintenance, coordinate workspaces, storage, and safety, and take care of emergency response (BHV) and key management.

Your team
You will work closely with the Location Manager of Bioscience Center Lelystad and various colleagues from the Facilities Department. Your primary workplace will be Lelystad.

Requirements

You take initiative, coordinate well with colleagues, and effectively utilize the network and facilities of Wageningen Campus. You remain enthusiastic and proactive under work pressure, actively seeking solutions. Additionally, you demonstrate organizational awareness and communicate tactfully with tenants, suppliers, and colleagues. You have excellent organizational and planning skills and can quickly switch between different tasks while maintaining oversight.

You also possess:
  • An MBO level 4 degree with experience in facility management;
  • OR a recently completed HBO degree, viewing this as an opportunity to gain industry experience;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.

We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of between €2823 and €3713 for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 7). This is a 20-24 hour position. We offer you a temporary contract for the duration of one year.
