Job description

As a Facilities Service Desk Officer, you contribute to the best possible customer experience for staff and students in the area of Facilities. The Facilities Service Desk (SDF) of Wageningen University & Research Centre coordinates and monitors all facility-related reports made by staff and students. The SDF ensures that users can reach them with their requests and that these are efficiently resolved either by the service desk itself or by the back office. As a Facilities Service Desk Officer, you answer questions, provide first-line support, refer users to the appropriate services, and coordinate facility-related reports. Your tasks and responsibilities:
  • Providing first-line support for requests at the Service Desk
  • Handling staff inquiries regarding systems such as ProQme, WIN-PAK, KMS, Kuario, Inepro, and MXP
  • Registering complaints, requests, information inquiries, and malfunctions, as well as monitoring them in the Facilities Management System Planon
  • Identifying incorrect information on the intranet related to your assigned area of focus and informing colleagues when necessary
  • Participating in projects and implementations of Facilities contracts

Requirements

Service and customer orientation are of great importance to you. You take satisfaction in providing optimal service to (internal) customers. With your service-oriented approach, you are able to quickly and effectively handle facility requests and incidents in a proactive and flexible manner. Additionally, it is crucial that you can manage busy situations and set priorities to ensure efficient and customer-focused service delivery. Analytical skills are valued when solving recurring problems, while you must also be able to address complex issues. Collaboration with colleagues is an integral part of the role, and your ability to work within a team contributes to the successful coordination of various facility services.

You also possess:
  • At least a completed MBO level 4 education with experience at a service desk
  • OR a completed HBO degree in facility management
  • Knowledge of facility processes
  • Knowledge and experience with applications such as an electronic ordering system, FMIS, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal proficiency in both Dutch and English

Your team
You will be working alongside eight colleagues in the Facilities Service Desk team, located in the Actio building on the Wageningen University campus.

Scale 7 up to and including 10

We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of between €2671 and €3399 for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 6). Additionally, a contract for 32 hours can be discussed and you will have to be available on Friday. We offer you a temporary contract for the duration of one year.
