Job descriptionYou will be responsible for implementing and optimising all online marketing efforts for Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University ’s commercial Open and Customised Programmes. Our aspiration is to continue to be a leading business school in Europe in offering corporate education while being a force for positive change.
To help achieve this, we need a skilled and motivated self-starter who can help execute our marketing strategy to increase our brand awareness, market share and conversion numbers. You will be part of our international marketing team, consisting of marketing managers and fellow marketing officers. The marketing team is responsible for attracting and nurturing potential participants for our executive education programmes , and corporate clients for our customised educational solutions. This is done by incorporating a commercial mindset and the best practices on branding and content creation throughout our marketing funnel across all (online) channels.
Additionally, you’ll work closely together with your colleagues from the sales and programme management teams.
Your daily activities and responsibilities include: Daily tasks consist of executing marketing campaigns on online and offline channels by creating and coordinating content and marketing materials needed to reach our targets and marketing objectives. Specifically, this means:
- Content creation:
- Create marketing materials and content through coordination between (internal) clients and third parties, such as copywriters, agencies, studios, and printers.
- Make sure that our house style is maintained in all our marketing collateral.
- Create and publish original, engaging content tailored to each social media platform's audience and best practices.
- Create and coordinate content, such as videos, podcasts, white papers, and photography to attract, nurture and convert leads.
- Create and optimise email marketing for lead generation, nurturing and conversion.
- Campaign planning and evaluation:
- Develop and monitor project plans, defining roles and responsibilities and following up with responsible teams within and outside of RSM.
- Track and evaluate digital and offline marketing campaigns (email, social, PPC, events).
- Measure ROI, cost per lead, conversion rates, and engagement metrics.
- Identify drop-off points in the funnel and suggest optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to align marketing efforts with conversion goals.
- Analyze email campaign performance (open/click rates, A/B testing).
- Coordination of events, such as webinars and virtual information sessions.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with our marketing agency to create content for an optimal online customer journey. Work together on an excellent media mix to maximise campaign efforts.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams, like with our Sales teams, Business Consultants and RSM/EUR Corporate Communication Team.
