Job description

The Research Data Infrastructure program is one of the initiatives to address this scale-up.

Within this context, the Process Design Consultant is responsible for capturing and translating stakeholder requirements into clear, structured, and implementable process designs. You will closely collaborate with the Product Owner to drive process improvement ideas from design to implementation, playing a crucial role in developing and refining the integrated research support processes within the Research Cockpit initiative at TU/e.

Work context
You will be joining the Research Workflows team within the Research Data Infrastructure program. This team is responsible for coordinating and implementing workflows which integrate research project management, research data management and key IT support processes for supporting research data workflows. These workflows come together in an overarching concept called the Research Cockpit.

Requirements

  • Interaction with stakeholders across the organization to capture and translate requirements into process designs.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and manage complexity.
  • Utilizes Business Process Management (BPM) methodologies.
  • Work with Atlassian tooling (Jira, JSM, Confluence).
  • Positioned to closely collaborate with the product owner, developers and service designers to implement processes with a strong focus on User Experience.
  • Opportunities to apply new technologies, process automation & analysis techniques (e.g. process mining, AI, agentic workflows)
