Job description

The Interuniversity Center for Social Science Theory and Methodology ICS offers fully funded PhD positions for a variety of projects. The PhD candidates will be appointed for a four-year period, with a formal evaluation at the end of the first year. In this period the graduates will work on their individual project, 1 September 2020.

Requirements

Excellent candidates who graduated or will graduate shortly in Sociology are invited to apply. Graduates in Psychology, Educational Sciences, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines are also encouraged to apply.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 48 months.

We offer, in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities, a salary of € 2,325 gross per month in the first year up to € 2,972 gross per month in the fourth year based on a full-time position.
