1. a motivation letter (max 2 pages), explaining your interest in the project and how your background fits the position. Please state which case studies you are most interested in researching and what are your cultural/linguistic capacities for doing so (e.g. research in the Netherlands, Germany, or other countries; local, identity-based, or climate movements);
2. your curriculum vitae;
3. grade transcripts of previous education (Bachelor's and Master's level; unofficial transcripts are acceptable);
4. a writing sample (course paper, thesis, or academic publication). If your thesis is not in English, please include a 300-word English abstract.
5. the contact information of two references (including e-mail; phone number, mailing address, and relationship to the applicant).

The first round of interviews takes place in the third week of March 2026.
