Candidates will be expected to detail in their cover letter how their research contributes to the core themes of PLG’s research program(Research Public Law and Governance (PLG) | Tilburg University). .

In order to make a good selection, we ask you to provide the following documents:  

  1. Letter of motivation addressed to Prof. dr. Maurice Adams
  2. Your Resume 
  3. Publication list and one or two publications 
  4. Research proposal or research agenda, including an explanation of how your research contributes to the core research themes of PLC 
  5. Education evaluations
  6. Contact details of at least two references (we only approach referees of candidates who are going to the second round of interviews).

The selection of applications will take place within one week of the closing date. You will be notified as soon as possible thereafter. The first selection interviews will take place on April 1, 2026 between 09:00-14:00 and the second on April 20, 2026 between 09:00-12:00. These interviews take place in person. You will therefore be expected to attend the interviews in person in Tilburg.

Tilburg Law School uses structured interviews, conducted by a standing Appointment and Promotions Committee (APC), supplemented by an external member, a member from PLG and a student member. The Committee for this vacancy consists of the following members:

  4. Prof. dr. Stavros Zouridis, member Public Law and Governance

You will ideally start working for Tilburg University on September 1, 2026.
