Application procedure

We kindly invite you to apply before March 31, 2026; this can only be done online. Address your cover letter to Dr. Hanna Lukkari and attach your resume. In order to make a good selection, we also ask you to provide the following documents:

 

  • An official copy of your university degree.
  • Grades list.  
  • Publication list and one or two publications, if available, or two examples of your academic writing (such as an excerpt from the LLM thesis, past course work)    
  • Contact details of two referees  
    We only approach referees for candidates invited to the interview

 

The letter selection will take place by April 7, 2026. You will be notified as soon as possible thereafter. The interviews will take place on April 15, 2026 (preference in person but for candidates residing outside the Netherlands online

 

The selection committee consists of:

  1. Dr. Hanna Lukkari, Assistant Professor in the Philosophy of Law (Supervisor, Principal Investigator)
  2. Prof. Dr. Morag Goodwin, Professor of Global Law and Development (Cluster Manager)

 

You will ideally start working for Tilburg University on 01.05.2026 or as agreed.
