As a postdoctoral researcher you will work in the group of Prof. O.C. Meijer. Here you will work on mechanisms of glucocorticoid receptor (GR) signaling in cell systems and in mouse metabolic and/or CNS disease models. The project is centered around differences in genomic mechanisms of action for different antagonists and selective modulators of the GR, in a collaboration with Corcept Therapeutics.
· Absolute requirements are a PhD degree, and experience with (single cell) omics techniques such as RNAseq, ChIPseq (equivalents), ATACseq, both practical and computational;
· The exact project will be shaped together with the successful candidate
Fixed-term contract: 4 years.
You will be employed on the basis of 36 hours per week. Appointment is for four years. Your salary is based on your education and experience and is a maximum of € 4,800 gross per month for a full time position (scale 10 in the Collective Labour Agreement for University Hospitals).
