Your role
As our IT Adoption Consultant, you’ll be the change champion who ensures this transformation is embraced across the business. You’ll guide teams through the transition, making sure the platform becomes a natural part of their daily work. Your role is all about people, process, and progress.

Together with the Enterprise Service and Process Optimization team, you will develop strategies to maximise the value of the platform for our departments and user groups.

You will be responsible for designing and executing the full adoption strategy for the ESM platform. This means you will not only develop the strategic approach, but also implement it across all relevant areas, from stakeholder engagement and communication to training and inspiration sessions. In this role, you act as the communicator, facilitator, and motivator, ensuring that the strategy is effectively translated into practice and embraced throughout the organization. As part of this, you will also set up and coordinate soundboard groups and the key-user community, working closely with colleagues and key users to gather feedback, share best practices, and continuously improve the adoption experience.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead adoption strategies for the new ESM platform, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all users.
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and communication campaigns.
  • Act as the trusted advisor between IT and business units, translating technical features into real-world benefits.
  • Set up and coordinate the soundboard groups and key-user community.
  • Advise clients on optimizing business processes using the ESM platform.
  • Track adoption metrics and continuously improve the experience.

Requirements

  • Higher professional education (HBO) level, in the field of communication and/or business administration.
  • You are certified in Prosci Change Management or open to pursuing certification.
  • Experience in IT adoption, change management, or digital transformation projects within a large public organization.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills in both Dutch and English.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training sessions.
  • Someone who sees opportunities, is independent and proactive, driven by intrinsic motivation.
  • Organizational sensitivity.
  • A people-first mindset with the ability to inspire confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Creativity and adaptability in driving change.
  • A team player with a flexible and creative mindset.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum/KANBAN.

  • A monthly salary of between € 3.546 and € 6.433 for full-time employment, depending on your knowledge and experience (scale 10 or 11 of the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities).
  • In addition to holiday allowance 8%, a structural end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.
