We are looking for a scholar who is passionate about impact-driven research & teaching. They are able to demonstrably bridge enterprise architecture and digital strategy. Your work focuses on how organizations align strategic goals with enterprise-wide digital and architectural decisions, and how these decisions shape organizational agility, innovation, and long-term value creation.
Your research addresses topics such as the strategic design and evolution of enterprise architectures, digital platforms, and operating models; business–IT alignment; and the governance of digital transformation initiatives. You study how architectural choices enable or constrain strategic change, business model innovation, and collaboration in digital ecosystems.
You have an expertise in linking strategy to enterprise architecture, including areas such as enterprise architecture management, digital transformation, platform and ecosystem strategies, IT governance, and capability-based planning. You are familiar with both quantitative approaches (e.g., architecture- or strategy-based analysis, empirical studies of digital investment outcomes) and qualitative approaches (e.g., case studies, design science, or socio-technical analyses of strategic change).
Responsibilities
You contribute to research, teaching, and knowledge valorization. You will
- carry out high-tech business research, with a genuine interest in operating at crossroads of different subject areas;
- improve your home-based specific expertise and develop an interdisciplinary research line;
- contribute to our research and teaching ecosystem (e.g., by acquiring external research and innovation funding);
- (co-)teach and coordinate courses in our Bachelor and Master programs of Business & IT and International Business Administration;
- guide students from these programs in their graduation assignments;
- contribute to the supervision of PhD students.
