Job description

For the current academic year 2025/2026, the Department of Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship has open positions for Grading Assistants for Philosophy of Science BT1207 from March 23rd until April 30th. As a grading assistant you will be asked to grade group assignments of BSc IBA students. The deadline for this assignment is March 20th and we are committed to grading all work in the three weeks following that date.

Job description
Grading will happen within 2-3 week timeframe as identified above (please note that minor adjustments to the schedule are possible). The total workload is expected to be around 40-50 hours, distributed among one or two TAs. A well-tested specific rubric will be available, which you will apply in order to quickly and easily assign grades.

Requirements

For this challenging job we are looking for BSc3 or MSc students, who:
  • Have an affinity on the topic of Philosophy of Science;
  • Are conscientious, proactive and reliable;
  • Have an excellent command of spoken and written English;
  • Previous grading experience is a plus.

Please note
To be one of our TAs you must live in the Netherlands. Applicants must have a Dutch address, a Dutch social security number (BSN), and a work permit. Applicants must be registered as students.

Conditions of employment

You will be compensated through EURFlex based on hours worked, according to the SA salary scale. In Spring 2026, this amounted to a gross hourly rate of €18,53 for second- and third-year students, and €19.18 for master students.
