Department

HBE's mission is to design and execute impact-driven research and education to attain responsible and sustainable high-tech transformation of industries, using cross-disciplinary approaches. Such transformation requires in-depth knowledge about how geographically spread (high-tech) organizations and supply chains, and people working within those settings, can collaborate well and improve their performance, e.g. through the adoption of smart technologies and data-driven decision making. Or how multinational firms and/or (increasingly internationalizing) local workplaces like healthcare could realize technological and pro-environmental practices adoption and behaviour change, while minimizing resistance and maximizing employee thriving.

We are looking for excellent enthusiastic scholars to join the High-tech Business and Entrepreneurship (HBE) department at the Faculty of Behavioural, Management, and Social Sciences. The HBE department is a growing research group that holds a leading position at the interfaces of business, technology, and the social sciences. We conduct cross-disciplinary business research, supporting organizations in innovative management and decision-making.
