The Lecturer (Assistant Professor) will replace the current lecturer during a sabbatical leave period. He/she will teach 2 undergraduate ecology courses; a ‘general ecology’ course at 200 level (2th year) and a ‘topics in ecology’ course at 300 level (3th year). Each course counts for 7.5 ECTS. There are 60 contact hours per course. The Spring semester runs from January 28, 2019 until May 17, 2019. The candidate should have:
UCR initially offers a semester contract running from January 1, 2019 to May 31, 2019 on the level of Assistant Professor (UD). The employment is for 0.6fte (22.8 h per week). This is a temporary contract due to temporary replacement of the current lecturer.
Salary will be based on VSNU salary scales in the range from (min. scale 11) to (max. scale 12) depending on experience. Commuting costs within the Netherlands will be partly reimbursed.
