Developing a kitchen prototype for a circular building environment

Job description

Creating a circular built environment is one of the main challenges of today. Gradually replacing building components by circular components is one of the ways to realise this. The PhD researcher/designer will develop the design and business model for one of these components: the circular kitchen. This kitchen will be developed into a prototype, applied in demonstration homes, and at the end of the PhD project will be ready for distribution on the market. The PhD candidate will lead this R&D project in co-creation with industry partners and colleagues from the TU Delft.
