Currently, the Faculty of Hospitality & Tourism Management (www.ua.aw ) offers Bachelor and MBA programs in the areas of Tourism Management and International Business. To support these programs the faculty has the following vacant position as per immediately: Assistant Professor in Tourism & International Business

Duties
The Assistant Professor works with graduate and undergraduate programs. Duties of the Assistant Professor include (a) teaching Tourism Management and International Business courses at the (Under-) graduate & Master level; (b) advising (Under-) graduate & Master students on internships and thesis research; (c) Assist in program coordination (d) conducting and publishing research on Tourism Management and International Business; and (e) contributing service to faculty development, area tasks, and other industry and community-related projects.

1. a PhD degree in areas of either International Business, Tourism Management, Hospitality or a closely-related discipline;
2. a proven track record of strong research ability and publication;
3. strong teaching performance at university level; and
4. relevant professional experience in service industry. Multi-lingual proficiency recommended, dynamic personality a must.

Fixed-term contract: 4 years.

Salary according to experience and education level; fulltime (40 hours) tenure position for a period of four years with the possibility for prolongation upon proven results and qualified performance. Starting date to be agreed upon.
