In addition, you will maintain contact and work with various partners both within and outside of Utrecht University (UU). The department is result oriented. Within the organization we are in the process of creating a more task oriented culture.

Tasks include:

  • providing a pleasant working environment and the desired culture in the department. Leading highly educated professionals means inspiring, giving trust and connecting, as well as addressing responsibility; skills that come natural to you;
  • facilitating scientific education and research by developing (new) products and services. The responsibility for organizing services in the field of research data management and reproducible code and software is an important part of your tasks;
  • actively participating and showing initiative in the management team and jointly shaping the translation of the strategic agenda of the University Library for employees and new services;
  • ensuring clear business processes within your field of work, organizing coherence and cooperation and serving as a bridge function to other fields and departments within the Library and Utrecht University.
