In this Postdoctoral position, you can contribute to more transparent and objective decision making, and a more sustainable world. You will be joining an ambitious and young team working on economic methods and theories, and their application to a variety of fields in life sciences.

The Business Economics Group at Wageningen University seeks candidates for a postdoc position in economics of animal health and food safety. Responsibilities for this position include contributing to ongoing research projects, teaching and proposal writing.

As a postdoc in the Business Economics group you are expected to have:

• a PhD in (applied) economics or business economics;
• interest and expertise in addressing the economic dimensions of life sciences themes such as animal health and/or food safety;
• proven ability to publish in peer reviewed scientific journals;
• the ability to work in international research teams;
• excellent (interpersonal) communication and writing skills;
• didactic skills and enthusiasm for working with students at BSc, MSc and PhD level.
