We are seeking a tenure track Assistant Professor in the field of Organizational Behavior, Applied Psychology, Organization Studies, and/or Human Resource Management

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a PhD in one of the main fields;
• Have a clear research portfolio and (forthcoming) publications in reputable scholarly journals;
• Strive to successfully apply for research grants (e.g., NWO-Veni, EU-Marie Curie, etc.);
• Take teaching seriously with proven ability in undergraduate and graduate teaching and supervision;
• Obtain the University Teaching Qualification within our school; and
• Be an ambitious self-starter as well as a good team player

Mastery of the English language is required, and proficiency in Dutch (or willingness to learn) is an advantage.

Knowledge of R is considered to be an advantage.

Fixed-term contract: Tenure Track.

We offer a tenure track position, with the possibility of a permanent contract. You will work in a challenging and professional setting. Many opportunities for personal development exist in an attractive international work environment. Upon meeting the tenure track criteria, a permanent contract will be offered. Salary will be in accordance with Dutch academic salary scales, include a pension scheme, and range between €3,746 to €5,826 gross per month, dependent on experience and a record of accomplishment of the candidate. A temporary reduction in income tax (equal to 30% of taxable salary) may apply to non-Dutch candidates. The Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities (CAO) is applicable.

Department of Organization, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship

The Department of Organization, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship (OSE) is an integral Centre of Excellence of the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. The department has gained a strong reputation in both research and research-led education. The variety of expertise available allows us to provide excellent education at the Bachelor, Master, MBA, and PhD level in the broad area of organization, strategy, and entrepreneurship.
