The Education Office of the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience (FPN) is looking for a Team Leader/Project Manager, who will be responsible for projects and will lead a number of teams within the Education Office.

We are looking for a Project Manager/Team Leader who is able to support the education at our faculty at a tactical, strategical, and operational level. Job Description:
The colleague we are looking for:

  • leads projects in collaboration with fellow staff members and other faculty members in order to improve and align processes and systems;
  • leads a number of teams within the education office;
  • makes team plans, coordinates the work and tasks of the respective teams;
  • coaches fellow employees and performs the necessary HR tasks;
  • identifies and implements process improvements and participates in general quality improvements (LEAN);
  • collaborates on Curriculum changes and start-up of new programs.

Requirements

The colleague we are looking for has the following:

  • has strong social skills communication skills;
  • is entrepreneurial, has positive energy and is proactive;

  • is focused on collaboration and can also work well independently and be contrarian at times;
  • can delegate tasks and responsibilities well;
  • is an ambassador for the faculty and is committed to various faculty improvements and professionalization projects.
  • preferably has work experience in a similar position;
  • has an affinity with quality systems and improvements;
  • is academically educated or has a demonstrable academic work and thinking level;
  • masters the Dutch and English language orally and in writing;
  • has knowledge of MS Office and SAP-SLCM and is able to quickly master software/administration programs;
  • is familiar with the LEAN philosophy.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 1 years, with shown suitability after 1 year, this contract will be changed to a permanent contract.

This is a temporary appointment for 0.8/1.0 FTE for one year. A permanent position will follow if suitability is demonstrated. The position is classified in scale 11 and with a full-time appointment amounts to € 3,807.00 minimum and € 5,211.00 maximum gross per month.

Depending on experience, classification in scale 10 may take place first and the salary for a full-time employment will be € 2,836.00 minimum and € 4,474.00 maximum gross per month.
