Postdoctoral positions in Plant Biochemistry and Metabolism are currently available in the BioActives Lab, in the Center for Desert Agriculture at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST, for further information about the University, please visit our website: www.kaust.edu.sa).

We are looking for excellent candidates with proven experience in LC-MS, metabolomics, isolation of biological compounds or Enzymology. Experience in Metabolic Engineering is a plus.

Our group, see: https://bioactives.kaust.edu.sa, is working on basic and translational aspects of plant metabolism and hormone research, with a focus on strigolactones and identifying novel small molecules regulating crop resilience and performance.

• PhD in biochemistry, metabolomics or enzymology.
• Strong work ethic and close attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a research team.
• Proven record of scientific and technical publications.
• Excellent English writing, communication and inter-personal skills.
