The laboratory of cell and developmental biology (https://lpcdb.kaust.edu.sa) within the Biological and Environmental Science and Engineering Division (BESE) at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) seeks highly motivated and talented Ph.D. graduates which are preferentially within the first year after their graduation
The candidate must have experience in dissecting molecular mechanisms related to developmental processes in Arabidopsis and/or modern crops. The applicant should have a strong background in genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology. Experience in confocal microscopy including high-resolution imaging fluorescence spectroscopy technologies is highly recommended. Excellent verbal and written English communication is mandatory.
Fixed-term contract: The position would be initially for one year, but with the possibility for renewal for a maximum of 3 years depending on the candidate’s performance.
