General

You will join a multidisciplinary team of professionals in a challenging but friendly environment. Your future team has a backgrounds in international banking, insurance, accountancy and consultancy, and have, believe it or not, a great sense of humor! They have all chosen to be (part-time) lecturers because of a passion to share knowledge and educate our future generations. While HTH would prefer full-time candidates, even a full-time job at HTH, we do offer scheduling flexibility and offer a high number of vacation days, so running your own firm or personal projects on the side is certainly feasible. And, in regards to your colleagues and students, a great way to expand your network and get involved in all kinds of business ventures!

General Function Description:

In this role, you will be  focusing on transferring your financial knowledge and skills to others. The role is Part-time and full-time available (starting from 0,6 fte to 1,0fte)

Requirements

Candidate Profile:

You have/are:

  • A Master’s degree or a commitment to obtaining one.
  • A passion for knowledge transfer
  • General understanding of finance, acquired through job and/or educational background
  • Willingness to learn didactics
  • Proficient in English
  • Willingness to work in Amsterdam and/or The Hague

You also know/have experience in:

  • DCF/NPV valuation
  • Using and interpreting financial ratios
  • Reading and explaining financial statements
  • General understanding of accounting
  • Good presentation skills
  • General knowledge of ESG

Remuneration

Hotelschool The Hague offers a salary based on scale 11 the labour agreement of Universities of Applied Science (CAO HBO) with a range between € 4.234,29 and € 5.936,77 per month, depending on your professional experience and qualifications.

In addition, Hotelschool The Hague offers:

  • A 13th month;
  • Flexibility in contracted hours. You can choose from 0,6 to 1,0 fte;
