Conditions of employment

- Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience and expertise, based on a full-time appointment as associate/full professor.In addition, the UMCG will offer you 8% holiday pay, and 8.3% end-of-year bonus. The conditions of employment comply with the Collective Labour Agreement for Medical Centres (CAO-UMC).

Cluster Biomedical Science and Technology

The European Research Institute for the Biology of Aging (ERIBA) is part of the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) and the University of Groningen (UoG) in Groningen, The Netherlands. Research at ERIBA aims to identify molecular mechanisms of ageing as potential targets to prevent, delay or treat age-related diseases and to promote healthy ageing. Our research teams use different model systems and state-of-the art technology platforms. We work in close collaboration with pre-clinical and clinical departments at the UMCG, and with various local, national and international partners to accelerate translation of our discoveries. ERIBA is located on the Healthy Ageing Campus Groningen where Academia and Life Science companies meet.
