Radboudumc
The department of
Human Genetics has an organizational structure within which three sections fall: the section Clinical Genetics (patient care), the section Genome Diagnostics (genetic laboratory diagnostics) and the Genome Research section (scientific research). There is close collaboration between the three sections and this results in a leading department with a constant drive to innovation and improvement of diagnostics and genetic care.
The
Stem Cell Technology Center (SCTC) is a 10 year-old facility within the department of Human Genetics in which stem cells are made from different types of somatic cells. The SCTC supports the scientific research of the department of Human Genetics and others, located within and outside the Radboudumc. The cell culture facility supports the diagnostics and the research of the department of Human Genetics and other departments within and outside the Radboudumc.
