Job description

You will be responsible for developing the infrastructure for data driven monitoring and coaching to support patients with Diabetic Foot to prevent ulcers. You will deal with challenges in data management that arise when massive real-time data streams have to be processed and combined with other sources of data without the possibility to store all the data. You will address privacy, security, and ethical considerations involved. You will cooperate with 3 other researchers from various backgrounds (e-coaching, medical data science, sensing technologies) and coordinate the alignment of the various sub-projects.

Requirements

We are looking for a person with a background in data science, more specifically, in dealing with real time data processing and analysis, and experience in healthcare research. You have management and coordination skills, are interested in working in a multi-disciplinary team.  

You are a highly qualified post-doctoral researcher with a strong background in data analytics, and with a strong interest in Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, and Health Informatics. You are a team-player with experiences in doing multidisciplinary based research. You have an interest in contribute to a high quality, impactful working team with post docs and PhD candidates. You can build upon the existing excellence of the multidisciplinary research team, which combines the following expertise domains: computer science, healthcare and psychology.
