Job description

An enthusiastic and entrepreneurial researcher in the field of nutrition behaviour who will make an important contribution to the challenging research projects of our Consumer Understanding group. As a researcher you work independently and proactively and are experienced in setting up and performing various types of behavioural research. Additionally, you carry out various measurements in order to understand consumer behaviour, eating behaviour, (multi)sensory perception, preferences, etc. You also perform research on lifestyle interventions that may lead to a lasting behavioural change and on the interactions between body, brain and behaviour. You need to be able to work in multidisciplinary research projects, in various project settings and in various partnerships. We are therefore looking for a communicative and flexible person with a team spirit.

Requirements

  • preferably a PhD degree in a relevant area, e.g., Behavioural Science, Experimental Psychology or a related specialisation, with affinity for nutrition and (neuro-)biology,
  • you to be interested in or experienced with research in the field of consumer behaviour or food choice in relation to health and sustainability,
  • you to have affinity with the technology behind various measurements,
  • you to understand what it means to work in a Contract Research Organization or to have working experience within a CRO setting or in business,
  • you to be interested in and experienced with performing statistical analyses and writing reports and/or scientific publications.
