Your work environment
The project focuses on a newly discovered cancer vulnerability, ‘cohesion weakness’, and aims to unravel how oncogenic transformation impacts on the establishment and stability of sister chromatid cohesion. You will be appointed in the Oncogenetics section of the department of Clinical Genetics at VUmc in Amsterdam, under supervision of junior group leader Dr. Job de Lange. The section is headed by Dr. Rob Wolthuis and is part of the Cancer Center Amsterdam (CCA). The project will be carried out in collaboration with Dr. Renee de Menezes of the department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of VUmc.

Salary Scale OIO: 2244 tot 2874 euro gross when employed full-time (depending on qualifications and experience).
