Associate Professor in Strategic Management and Organization
Are you an ambitious and driven academic with the proven ability to carry out teaching and research in Strategic Management and related topics of Organisational Theory or Innovation Management? Do you have an excellent research track record, proven success obtaining funding and the vision and drive to tackle new challenges? Are you passionate about delivering insightful and inspiring teachingon undergraduate and master level modules?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strategy and Organisation Group (Management Division) at Leeds University Business School. The successful candidate will be expected to raise the profile of Strategy and Organisation Group and collaborate with members of interdisciplinary Centre for Technology Innovation and Engagement. Strategy and Organisation group is engaged in research and teaching about organisations, including their processes, capabilities, organisational forms, technologies, cultural resources and performance. Research and teaching is inspired by contemporary managerial challenges based on close collaboration with corporate partners. Members of Strategy and Organisation group publish in top management journals, they hold editorial advisory board positions and contribute to capacity building in the field of management at UK and EU level. Members have won many prestigious projects funded by EU and national research councils (ESRC and EPSRC) and this enables producing insightful new knowledge about management and transferring it into inspiring teaching.
As Associate Professor, you will carry out research, teaching and management within the school, faculty and university and contribute to academic leadership in the field of management with specific emphasis on Strategic Management.
Salary: £50,132 to £58,089 p.a.
