The Department of Human Genetics is looking for a postdoc for an NWO-funded research on epigenetic regulation in health and disease in the Daxinger group.

Job description

Our international research group is investigating the function of a set of proteins involved in DNA methylation and histone modification pathways in mammals. We employ unbiased genome-wide methods (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, WGBS, ATAC-seq) to expose the transcriptomic and epigenomic dysregulation resulting from perturbation of these pathways using various model systems. In complementary mechanistic/biochemistry studies we are characterizing how our proteins of interest interact with other members of the epigenetic machinery and contribute to gene regulation.
