Fixed-term contract: 1 year with possible extension.
The appointment starts off with a 12 month contract and will be extended for 12 months under the condition of a good first year evaluation. Depending on the candidates’ qualifications and experience, the full-time salary for the position of a lecturer 3 or 4 on a full-time basis ranges between € 2.709 and € 4.978 gross per month, based on scale 10 or 11 of the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) Dutch Universities. Researchers from outside the Netherlands may qualify for a tax-free allowance equal to 30% of their taxable salary. The university will apply for such an allowance on their behalf. The university offers very good fringe benefits, such as an options model for terms and conditions of employment and excellent reimbursement of moving expenses.

The Department of Cognitive Neuropsychology of Tilburg University consists of a vibrant mix of people interested in cognitive and clinical neuropsychology. The Department of Cognitive Neuropsychology is an intellectually exciting and productive group, advancing fundamental understanding in the cognitive neuroscience and clinical neuropsychology. The research of the department is highly recognized both nationally and internationally. There is a strong ongoing collaboration with the departments of Neurology & Neurosurgery of the Elisabeth Hospital in Tilburg. Conjoint projects focus on cognitive impairments in patients with various neurological diseases such as stroke and brain tumours.
