The successful applicant will be appointed for a fixed-term period of 4 years. Continuation after the first year is dependent upon an evaluation. The gross monthly salary will range from € 2.325,- per month in the first year, gradually rising to € 2.972,- in the final year (pay scale in accordance with the Collective Agreement of Dutch Universities for academic personnel).

The Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies (Leiden Law School & Campus Den Haag) (‘the Centre’) is a leading academic institution in the field of international law, which is focused on high-level research, education and training in public international law and global justice. The Centre is part of the Faculty of Law of Leiden University, the oldest University in The Netherlands. It is one Centre in two cities, with homes in Leiden and The Hague.
