Job description

Maastricht University School of Business and Economics offers several Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in the area of Business and Economics. For our Bachelor’s programmes there are several procedures (numerus fixus/selection, International Classroom, Matching procedure) that belong to the tasks of the SBE Admissions Office. To be eligible for admission to a Master’s programme, students also have to go through a number of steps in the application process and, in most cases, have their file assessed by the Board of Admission from the appropriate process.

Besides processing documents from students like motivation essay, cv, lists of grades, etc, working at the Admissions Office also means working during Open Days, informing students via telephone and email and facilitating colleagues who work in the Boards of Admission or the committees for the selection so that they can perform their tasks as efficiently as possible.

This also means that the position involves frequent correspondence with members and chairs of committees and Boards of Admissions.
