The General Affairs service is headed by the Secretary of the University and consists of the Executive Board Staff, the Executive Board Secretariat, and a number of units that are directly under the responsibility of the Executive Board, such as Operational Audit, Studium Generale and the Sports Center.
The Executive Board Staff is responsible, among other things, for supporting strategy and policy at the institutional level. This is organized in the thematic clusters Education and Research.
Terms of employmentWe are offering a 0.8 FTE appointment. Depending on experience and education, the salary for a full-time contract ranges between € 3.746,- and € 5.127,- gross per month (salary scale 11 CAO Dutch Universities). The TU/e offers a broad package of fringe benefits, for instance a year-end bonus of 8.3%, holiday allowance of 8% and excellent sport facilities.
We are offering a temporary appointment for a period of one year, with possible prolonging for the duration of the project. Most likely, the appointment will be via EUFLEX (TU/e secondment agency).
