One central question involves whether, and how, brain structure and function govern the rate of de cognitive development in childhood and/or old age. You will have an interest in theory-based developmental cognitive neuroscience, and work with Prof. Kievit and international collaborators to capitalize on the recent rapid increase in the availability of large lifespan cohorts. You will take the lead in developing analytic questions, testing and comparing developmental models, and prepare reports for journal publication with you as first author.

Your activities and responsibilities include:
  • Analyse large scale developmental datasets focused on neurocognitive aging to better understand cognitive development.
  • Prepare the research for publication.
  • Present their work at seminars and at external meetings.
  • To work in collaboration with others to achieve joint research projects.
