Lecturers within the OSE department are involved in a variety of teaching tasks including tutoring of student groups, grading of exercises and examinations, thesis supervision, and tutoring in skills trainings for students. Teaching activities are oriented towards Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in economics and international business. A lecturer is typically also involved in the development and coordination of courses in the curriculum of the department. Some lecturers are active in courses offered by other business departments at the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, depending on their background and personal interests. The working language is English.
The ideal candidate holds a Master / PhD degree with a background in business economics, business administration, economics, human resource management, management, entrepreneurship, organization or strategy. This list is not exhaustive and candidates from related and relevant disciplines are also encouraged to apply. Relevant practical experience as well as experience with the Problem based Learning system is appreciated, but not a prerequisite.
Fixed-term contract: negotiable, with a maximum of four years.
