Tasks:

• Contributing to research focused on improving theory and practice of health behavior change within the research line Promoting Health & Personalised Care at the Care and Public Health Research Institute (CAPHRI);
• Acquisition of research funds to continue development of an own research area that fits within and is complementary to research conducted at the department of Health Promotion and the research institute at large;
• Supervision of PhD. students and post-docs within own research area and in cooperation with others.
• Teaching for bachelor and master students about health behavior, prevention and health promotion.

A PhD. in social sciences or health sciences with excellent knowledge and experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research, and an outstanding track record of publications in peer reviewed scientific journals, teaching at the university level, acquisition of research funds, and supervision of PhD. students. Candidates who expect to be ready for a step towards an associate professorship in the near future are also invited to respond.

Fixed-term contract: 1 year, with the possibility of a permanent contract afterwards.

The position is temporary for the duration of 1 year, with the possibility of a permanent contract afterwards. 
Depending on experience and qualification, the maximum gross monthly salary is € 6.317,- in accordance with scale 13.
