Job description

The Department of Quality and Safety of Oral Health Care at Radboudumc seeks to appoint a Postdoc in Health Economics (fulltime, part-time is possible) to carry out innovative health economics research to prioritize cost-efficient oral interventions to promote good oral health globally. The work conducted will be in collaboration with WHO and contribute to the development of "Best Buys for Oral Health" as highlighted in the 2021 WHO Resolution on Oral Health.

Tasks and responsibilities
  • Conduct research regarding the cost-effectiveness of oral health interventions to promote oral health globally.
  • Liaise with and coordinate the collaboration with the WHO Oral Health Programme and other partners involved in the development of "WHO Best Buys for Oral Health".
  • Support the Department of Quality and Safety of Oral Health Care in all scientific, educational, and administrative matters.
  • Preparation of research results in the form of publications in international journals as well as presentations at national and international conferences.
  • Willingness to write grant proposals.

Requirements

You have a PhD degree in health economics, statistics or epidemiology and you have excellent skills in data analytics and cost-effectiveness modelling. Furthermore:
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Experience in Intergovernmental Organizations is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to acquire new skills for research and education.
  • Ability and willingness to work in interdisciplinary and international teams.

Fixed-term contract: 2 years.
