Job description

As Educational Policy Advisor/Accreditation Officer, your focus will be on preparing our national (NVAO) and international (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) accreditations. You will work closely with our senior policy advisor accreditations & rankings, our academic coordinator accreditations and our information officer. In this team, you will prepare self-assessment reports, site visits from accreditation panels, and you will perform aftercare work in collaboration with relevant academic and support staff members. Writing parts of the report and editing it, data coordination, and advising, will be among your main tasks. You also offer support in preparing staff and students for their roles during the site visit. In addition, you are available for other policy advising tasks within PDQA.

Requirements

As an enthusiastic, pro-active, creative and thoughtful team player and professional, you can easily alternate between working individually and in groups. You have good analytical skills and you are a good conceptual thinker, which enables you to keep the overview between the big picture and the many subtasks that need to be done. Ideally, you have a university degree and/or relevant experience in a similar accreditation, policy or project management role. You have excellent oral and written communication skills, both in Dutch and English (C1 proficiency level).

Fixed-term contract: 1 year.

Your appointment will be for one year, given that the vacancy has arisen to temporarily replace permanent staff and support additional temporary projects.

The gross monthly salary mentioned is based on a fulltime appointment. The salary will depend on your education, qualifications and relevant working experience, based on salary scale 9 of the CAO NU. This implies a gross monthly salary between € 2.968 and € 4.078 per month (based on a fulltime appointment). Each year the standard salary is supplemented with a holiday allowance of 8% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.

Policy Development and Quality Assurance Office (PDQA)

The PDQA office will be your home base. PDQA’s main responsibilities are preparing policy advice, and executing and monitoring several quality assurance cycles. The team consists of eight colleagues: a variety of policy advisors, secretaries and information officers.
