To expand our team of IT professionals we are looking for an Azure engineer. The  Azure engineer develops and maintains our steadily growing Azure cloud. You are the expert in this environment and participate in campus wide projects to optimally support our research, development and students. 

You will maintain and improve in collaboration with colleagues or in project teams our hybrid Microsoft Azure environment. You are the enabler for cloud capabilities within the Azure domain.

Requirements

Who are you? 
  • Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor degree; 
  • Microsoft Azure certified; 
  • You have experience with generating scripts and templates required for automatic provisioning;
  • Proven track record in complex hybrid enterprise Microsoft environments; 
  • Experienced in core Windows technologies e.g. Active Directory; ADFS, GPO's, etc.;
  • Knowledge of server management within a datacenter; 
  • Experienced with Windows management tooling (SCCM, etc); 
  • VMware experience (certification is considered an advantage); 
  • Basic knowledge of networking & storage;
  • DevOps and agile mindset;
  • You will work from our TU/e Campus and from home;
  • Willing to participate in standby shifts;
  • You are a team player, who likes to share collaborate with colleagues;  
  • You are an enabler of functionality.

  • The salary is in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement of the Dutch Universities and depending on education and work experience, salary scale 10 or 11 with a minimum €2.836,= and maximum of scale 11 €5.211,=;
