Job description

DesignLab University of Twente has a vacancy for a Content Marketeer:

DesignLab
DesignLab is the experimental collaborative ecosystem at University of Twente for innovative changemakers inside and outside the university that connects society, technology, science and design in a transdisciplinary way. DesignLab contributes to solving societal challenges by combining interdisciplinary working (i.e. the integration of academic disciplines to generate new knowledge and insights) with experiential knowledge, infused by societal partners. For more information, [click here.](https://www.utwente.nl/en/designlab/)

DesignLab is a student driven open space to experiment and innovate and take care of the demands of a fast-changing society. This is achieved through new types of education (such as the master-insert Shaping Responsible Futures), different forms of research (e.g. responsible design and open science) and public-private partnerships.

DesignLab is also a 'sandbox' environment for citizen science on the UT campus, promoting interaction between researchers, students and end-users. In general, DesignLab bridges societal challenges with educational activities, research and transdisciplinary ways of working.

As a Content Marketeer, you will work towards achieving DesignLab's goals together with the DesignLab Communications Advisor, staff and student employees. You collaborate closely with the central department of Marketing & Communication (MC) on activities that connect DesignLab and the UT community. The working language at DesignLab is English.

Job description:
You support in shaping and implementing communication of DesignLab. You are enthusiastic to co-create content that shows the focus and values of DesignLab in an efficient and effective way, geared towards interaction and conversion.

You promote the activities, services and results of DesignLab to target, engage and activate audiences, both internally and externally. Using a mix of traditional and novel types of media, you develop and implement tools to support the creation of and linkage to relevant communities and networks.

You create action plans for (online) marketing and communication activities and implement them accordingly. You co-create and collect content, together with the DreamTeam (student employees) for websites, social media, press releases and newsletters. You are also responsible for maintaining the online channels.

You take part in the daily activities and the projects of DesignLab and actively develop improvements to the process in collaboration with colleagues from DesignLab, MC and UT wide. You explore opportunities to maximize the impact of DesignLab within the university and beyond. Being result-oriented and inventive, you dare to take initiatives.
