Job description

Members of the WOP team are involved in teaching in the bachelor program of psychology and in various master programs, including the master of Work and Organizational Psychology, and an International Joint MSc program on Research in W&O Psychology. This is a joint program with three International Universities. The Faculty is currently strengthening the W&O psychology group, and invites applications for the position of a Researcher/Postdoc with a teaching assignment for Work and Organizational Psychology to strengthen the Work and Organizational Psychology (WOP) group. This concerns a temporary position for max. 2 years, funded from the NPO program.

The teaching load for this position will be approx. 60% vs 40% research.

Tasks:
Candidates are expected to:

  • teach in the master programs of W&O Psychology, and in the Bachelor program Psychology;
  • conduct research in the field of Work and Organizational Psychology and contribute to the group’s lines of research;

Requirements

  • PhD degree (preferably in W&O Psychology), or about to defend the thesis;
  • strong research profile as evidenced by first publications in peer-reviewed outlets;
  • teaching experience and strong teachings skills in the area of Work and Organizational Psychology (Candidates are expected to (almost) have the Basic Teaching Qualification - BKO);
  • language requirements: our programs are taught in English, so good proficiency in English language is required.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 2 years.

The position (1.0 FTE) is temporary for the duration of 2 years. Depending on experience and qualification, the maximum gross monthly salary is € 5.211,- in accordance with scale 11 of the Dutch university collective bargaining agreement.
