We are looking for a professional and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. This opportunity is for somebody to come in and hit the ground running, providing trial support to the clinical research team.

Job description

ROLE
The main parts of this position are communication, administration and trial coordination. You will be the primary communication point for project teams with regard to the clinical study day-to-day activities.

You will be heavily involved in the co-ordination of all trial activities within the iCOVID https://icovid.ai/ and IMMUNOSABR project https://www.immunosabr.org/, large EU funded international projects.

Your main tasks include:

  • Set-up and streamline data collection;
  • Patient data and patient sample logistics;
  • Clinical Study Protocol updating;
  • Development and maintenance of e-CRF;
  • Data validation, including automatic and manual data inspections, data discrepancies/deficiencies review and resolution, query generation and resolution, feedback to clinical trial teams regarding quality of data;
  • Non-CRF electronic data handling (receiving, archiving, loading into study database, review and resolution of reconciliation issues, feedback to centers regarding quality of data and other issues);
  • Data Management plan and risk-based Management Plan and other project-specific guidelines and instructions development and review;
  • Coordination and supervision of processing, dispatch and archiving of CRFs/queries.

Requirements

  • Experience in coordinating clinical trials;
  • Statistical knowledge and experience;
  • Higher education degree, preferably in the medical domain (for example, but not limited to: health sciences, biomedical sciences, etc.);
  • Experience in a professional environment, preferably with clinical or medical data;
  • Experience in Clinical Data Management systems;
  • Good command of Dutch and English, written and spoken;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to work independently and perform multi-task activities;
  • Good attention to detail;
  • GCP certification (or willing to take the course).

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 1 year, with possibility of extension.

It concerns a temporary employment of 0,6 FTE for the period of 1 year with the possibility of extension.

Conditions of employment and salary are based on the Collective Labour Agreement for the university, scale 9. The maximum gross monthly salary is € 4.078,- (on a full-time basis) and depend on experience and qualification.
Furthermore, our Agreement offers an extended package of secondary benefits, including a holiday bonus, a yearly bonus, bonus to work from home and excellent health insurance arrangements.
