Nyenrode Business Universiteit is looking for faculty candidates with teaching and research interests for the position of Assistant Professor Communication Skills.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach a number of courses at different levels on various full-time and part-time degree programmes. These include:

• Academic reading and writing skills (BScBA, Full-time MSc, Modular MBA and PhD)
• Management communication skills (Executive MBA, Modular MBA and Part-time MSc)

Consistent with our emphasis on managerial relevance, the candidate will be encouraged to develop and update teaching materials in the light of international developments and emerging research.

• The successful candidate should have a degree in English or other relevant subject and a Master’s.
• Candidates must have teaching experience.
• Candidates should also have experience in conducting research or be interested in conducting research.
• A native speaker of English is preferred.
• It is necessary to have credentials to teach at Dutch universities and to be BKO registered or willing to register within two years.
• Teamwork is highly valued at Nyenrode. Some courses are given by two teachers (sometimes at two different locations, i.e., Breukelen and Amsterdam), which requires cooperation, flexibility, and synergy. 
• Candidates must be available from August, 2022.

Fixed-term contract: 1 year with a possibility for a permanent position.

Salary will depend on position and qualifications and will be between € 2.803,- and € 5.186,- (scale 10/11). Tax benefits may apply.
