Job description

We are seeking a talented individual with technical and programming expertise in data management and processing to join our team. You will play a crucial role in integrating the rapidly growing volume of digital pathology data into our research projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work closely with researchers and lab technicians to ensure seamless integration and advance our work to new heights.
The Computational Pathology Group (CPG) of Radboudumc Nijmegen develops artificial neural networks based on Artificial Intelligence techniques, using Deep Learning for the analysis of histopathological slides. Our AI algorithms are trained using whole slide images (WSI). WSIs are generated by scanning histopathological slides on a very high resolution. Development of most AI algorithms require large sets of WSIs used to train and validate computer models.
Since 2020, the pathology department of the Radboudumc has implemented a fully digital pathology workflow, where every day, hundreds of digital pathology slides are scanned. This wealth of data represents the perfect combination with development of state-of-the-art AI algorithms.
